HOW ARTICLE 370 CAN BE REPEALED !

A friend of mine while discussing Article 370 suddenly retorted back by saying, why cannot we abrogate this article since this is an article present in the constitution of India. If we can have hundreds of amendments in our constitution, why not amend this one as well. I always believed that it is always in the scope of the
Indian Parliament to remove or amend this Article. I could have replied to my friend in boxing the details, but I thought to share it here on my wall for all my friends to know and evaluate. I am reproducing the same here for the esteemed readers to read and evaluate.

How was the fraud committed?

Powers to make any amendments in the COI rests ordinarily rests with the Parliament through Article 368, PART XX
AMENDMENT OF THE CONSTITUTION' which says "An amendment of this Constitution may be initiated only by the introduction of a Bill for the purpose in either House of Parliament, and when the Bill is passed in each

House by a majority of the total membership of that House and by a majority of not less than two-thirds of the members of that House present and voting, [it shall be presented to the President who shall give his assent to the Bill and thereupon] the Constitution shall stand amended in accordance with the terms of the Bill.

Thus, in ordinary terms even with the Temporary provisions with respect to the State of Jammu and Kashmir through Article 370, the Parliament of India still reserved its rights to alter or amend the Article 370 through Article 368. In utter disregard to the Constitution of India and to please the separatist elements of Valley, through Sheikh Abdullah, the then Government of India made changes in Article 368 through a simple Presidential order which ironically didn't find its way into the main body of Constitution of India ( For obvious
reasons that it was illegal to tamper with the COI in this manner) but as an Appendix to the Constitution, which remained away from the eyes of nation and was not discussed or brought to light. The Appendix I of the COI says:
[To clause (2) of article 368], the following proviso shall be added, namely:—

“Provided further that no such amendment shall have effect in relation to the State of Jammu and

Kashmir unless applied by order of the President under clause (1) of article 370.”

Thus when analysts say that this Article can be amended or even abrogated, they actually mean to undo this fraud through the same Presidential order, which means the President of India can pass an order and declare the Appendix I of COI null and void. Even the consent of the Parliament is not necessary since a precedence has been set by the then President through his presidential order. Once the Appendix I is provided null and void, Article 370 becomes just another article of COI and will stand prone to amendments.

In nut shell, we must understand that it was just the will of the then central government to introduce this Article and accord special status to J&K through Art 370, even after facing stiff opposition from the architect of constitution, Sh B R Ambedkar , Maulana Hasrat Mohani, Pt Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and many others, but Sardar Patel and Pt Nehru went ahead with the article and made future safe guards for it.

Now it is the same will needs to be exercised by the current Central Government to undo this fraud. Just the matter of will and sheer guts. Will our NaMo bell the cat, is the million dollar question.

Rendezvous WITH NAMO December 1ST , 2013

Rendezvous WITH NAMO December 1ST , 2013

We humans gather experiences in the form of events and incidents of life and these in turn formulate our opinion which eventually leads to conduct. Being a part of this exiled community, our lives have been eventful thus experiences have never eluded us. They are part and parcel of our lives and have shaped our conduct to a larger extent. Today again was a day of yet another experience and shaping, and I must acknowledge that I had my set of prejudices connected with this rally and they were heavily loaded in favour of Sh Narender Modi, whom, in the succeeding lines, I shall address as my hero or more preferably NaMo.

I was accompanied by a person younger than my age, but much more season and experienced than anyone double my age.  He has been my mentor on issues concerning our community, but I am a kind of entity who believes in taking a first-hand experience on most of the issues. I have done it in past, am going to do this today and in future as well. Having said this, I still hold the views and opinion of this person very seriously, however, today, I decided to put his views on rally at a back burner.

As the event progressed, I could see the local BJP leaders raising their voice and concern for a horde of issues miring our state, issues regarding rights, plights, agony of west Pakistan refugee, Shia's of Kargil, Boarder migrants and people, Ladhakis , and Yes, I could also hear them speak about the gruesome murder of Sarabjeet Singh and Chamail Singh orchestrated by Pakistan in their jails. The lack lustre response of the state govt and those at helm in centre came under severe criticism. Leaders one after the other were boosting about the presence of 5000 members of Muslim fraternity from valley. Amidst all this and further swelling of the stadium, the chants and roars for NaMo were growing louder and louder. I was wondering, how could any of the leaders on the dais forget to utter even a word about my exiled community which has lived amongst them for last 23 years and who currently comprise a very important constituent of the Jammu society. My belief was thinning as the leaders one by one were culminating their address. Strange thoughts were creeping in and I was thinking if the sacrifices made by all the mentioned communities were so great and profound that an easy miss could be given to this exiled community. I was repeatedly training my mind with the thought that these leaders after all have to leave something for NaMo to deliberate upon. They are purposely giving a miss to the plight and pathos of my community, since, I had always believed that Pandit and their plight is a trump card in the hands this nation, and best is always used with care and caution.

I had now pinned my hopes upon my hero to deliver not on pandits but pass a terse message to all those who are hell bent to bleed India through thousand cuts, to balkanise India, to terrorise India and finally to those who blackmail India by keeping the bogey of separatism alive. After some while my wait came to end, and we could see NaMo suddenly appearing on the dais with Sh Rajnath Singh. The euphoria and the ecstasy of the crown was a sight which we always desire to behold in our imagination. People seemed to have gone crazy and wild. This ecstasy had enveloped me as well, and chants and yells came out of my conscious mind.

As it took a while to settle down things, I again got submerged in my thoughts. Lolz! Here is my hero, the hero for whom, I had created an event on face book and made sure it reached far and wide on social media. The hero who I believe has that innate capability to change the destiny of this nation, and putting it in the words of NaMo, transform this nation from the state of begger-hood  to Better-hood.

My cherished desire to listen to our future PM had to rest for a while as the party president Sh Rajnath ji stood up to deliver a customary speech. I found a resonance of the same speech delivered by local BJP leaders. He too boosted off about the presence of valley Muslims, was very concerned about the voting rights of west pakistand and POK refugees, discussed at length Sarabjeet and Chamail Singh. And yes, in the foot notes he did mention something about the rehabilitation of Pandits, but in a very cursory manner, seemed as if he had been advised or rather say tutored about not dabbling in detail about this languishing community. Though my confidence was thinning and my conscious mind was ringing alarm bells in my sub conscious, yet, I had pinned great hopes with the man of the moment, our hero, our NaMo to speak on issues very dear to the heart of a nationalist.

And then, our wishes were granted, NaMo stood up to deliver his address to a vast and mammoth gathering. NaMo along expected lines and in a manner befitting a person aspiring to be the PM of India covered all the aspects and issues affecting the common man, economy, unemployment, inflation, our weak-kneed approach to our ever aggressive neighbours. Every thing, I must say, but I could also see the same resonance of speech which I saw in previous speakers. NaMo too showed his concerns about Shai's of Kargil, People of Ladakh, West Pakistan and Pok refugees, Sarabjit, Chamail Singh, Gujjars, and yes! a new addition - Saba, the sister of Omar Abdullah, who lost her rights of inheritance after marrying to a non-state actor, Oops! A non-state subject.

Trying to keep myself fixed and glued to chair, and desirous of hearing at least the same 'passing remark' about the plight and pathos of Pandits, I was shocked instead by something which I least expected from my hero. NaMo started emulating Vajpayee ji by branding his formula as the only solution to K-issue. He went on to say, Insaaniyat  (Humanity), Jamhooriyat ( Democracy), and Kashmiryat , the three pillars upon which the resolution of Kashmir has to be reached. Lolz! was I hearing this farce notion again. The word Kashmiryat, reminiscent of torture, pain, heart-breaks, genocide and perpetual exiled state of this community. And my hero was trying to make me believe there is no other way out. That the Pandits must again be held up at the altar of Kashmiryat and sacrificed to uphold the Indian nationhood in KAshmir, and to further upon the plans of holding on to Kashmir through the sacrifices of Pandits. No way! This resilient Batta in me was feeling humiliated, let down, and completely shattered. Now, I was reading the events of the rally in continuity of what Indian state has been doing  post Independence in Kashmir and with Kashmiri Pandits.

I again feel it pertinent to mention that I being a Kashmiri Pandit had attached least personal {read community} with this rally, since, whatever I was doing was in a state of sleflessness, however, being a mortal, I too now began to think, when sacrifices, plight, pain of other communities can find mention in the speech of all the leaders, why this humble pandit is always ignored and forgotten. Why the sacrifices made by pandits to uphold the Indian Nation and Indian state in Kashmir amidst all odds, humiliations, conversion , mass murders and exiles are so conveniently brushed under the carpet and ignored. Are Pandits so unwanted?

But then, I got the answers from the same conscious mind which until now sitting on the edge of chair to stand up in endorsement and affirmation of what NaMo said. Buddy! You are not a vote bank, thus completely dispensable and unwanted. But again as they say, it is the poor which keeps his conscience alive. My sub conscious mind jolted my conscious one and delivered a verdict.

Let this be the last sacrifice this humble Pandit is making, Let us not let NaMo down. Let us still act selflessly caring least if NaMo remembers us or not. Still as a staunch nationalists  least caring about the self of our community, we will selflessly continue to work as his soldiers. The lines of Pablo Neruda fit in the milieu of things, "Though this be the last pain that she makes me suffer; and these the last lines I write for her".

THE CIVILIZATIONAL CONNECT

While I was contemplating a response to an email, a prejudiced and ill-informed KM came calling on my wall in face book and I preferred to respond him. He was adamant to prove that Kashmir has always been an separate country and shares no connect with India and India is a colonial power like British. I had to type a customised response which I am sharing here.
Magray Rafi, since you have dropped in on my wall it is my civilization ethic to respond you in the most cordial manner and deal with you as one learning entity deals with other. While maintaining the ethos I will try and respond you in all truthfulness.
You have to understand that the men you have named were fighting against the oppressor and alien occupier i.e British who colonised India primarily for their business pursuits and India was not the only colony being held by them. While talking about Indian Independence you should know that British being outsiders had no historical connect with India nor shared any of civilizational moorings like art, literature, philosophy, way of life, religion and other allied things which could have established a link between British and India. In the back drop of this we must analyse and know  the anchors which comprise and bind a nation in one single entity and things which are considered as a threat to the identity of a nation.

While talking of British we should know they belonged to an entirely separate set of belief system which made India and England poles apart. Their presence in India was not natural and their continued presence in was purely for strategic and business terms with a sole purpose of establishing their might in world since they had other competitors like Portuguese , Spaniards , and other European nations . For your reference and better understanding I am defining colonialism so that you with all fairness of though and without any prejudiced mind can apply your mental faculty and arrive at some conclusion.

'Colonialism is the establishment, exploitation, maintenance, acquisition, and expansion of colonies in one territory by people from another territory. It is a set of unequal relationships between the colonial power and the colony and often between the colonists and the indigenous population.
Now let us take a ride back home and make a thorough understanding of the relationship shared by India and Kashmir (though I had no intention of segregating them, since there exists no difference between the two, but to assist you with a fair analysis and make you understand the connect between the two, I am compelled to segregate them for a moment)

If you go through Nilamat Puran, it is a Kashmiri Purana ( Puranas are the sacred texts of Sanatan Dharma) referred to by Kalhana - the writer of one of the most chronicled history of India - The Rajatarangini or The wave of Kings, in 11th century, as one of the sources of the ancient history of Kasmira. Buhler, whom goes the credit of saving its manuscripts, states on page 41 of his Report, "It great value lies therein that it is a real mine of information regarding the sacred places of Kashmir and their legends which are required to explain the Rajatarangini and that it shows how Kalhana has used his sources". But as a matter of fact the Nilamata gives besides, the account of sacred places, a lot of information about the Kasmiri way of living, its art, literature, science, philosophy and other allied things.
Applying your mind further in reading The Nilamat and The Rajatarangini , you will know Kashmir has always been a contributor to the Indian Civilizational moorings like any other state of India. In fact if you make a deeper study you will know Kashmir has always been a front runner attributing meaning and ethos to Indian Civilization and has timely received its share of recognition from its fountain head - India or the Bharat varsha.

In fact if you make a deeper study you will know Kashmir has always been a front runner attributing meaning and ethos to Indian Civilization and has timely received its share of recognition from its fountain head - India or the Bharat varsha

Here is a list of great Kashmiri Pandits who have immensely contributed to Indian Civilizational moorings :
•Kalidasa - the great poet
•Anandavardhana, Philosopher
•Bhatta Kallata
•Abhinavagupta, Philosopher
•Kshemaraja
•Utpaladeva, wrote a commentary on the book Samhita
•Bhaskara
•Lalleshvari, mystic and poet, 14th century
•Jonaraja, Historian, 15th century
•Shrivara, Historian, 15th century
•Prajna Bhatta, Historian, 16th century
•Lalitaditya Mukhtpida - The great King, 8th century

When one goes further and make a thorough study of Indian Philosophy and thought process, one will know the contributions made by these great men have percolated deep into the Indian civilization, it will not be a wrong assessment to say that India and Kashmir are inseparable.

CONTOURS OF SEPRATE HOMELAND FOR PANDITS AND QUADFURCATION OF J&K

Over last more than half a decade, I have gone through varied opinions and thought process revolving around the creation of a separate Homeland for Kashmiri Pandits. Among various arguments and discourse's some of which are for the creation of Homeland and some against it. Those who stand for the creation of separate Homeland for Pandits have based their argument over the repeated abysmal failure of compromises made by Kashmiri Hindus to accommodate with Kashmiri Muslims in one composite society, and those who stand against are either of the view that no genocide has taken place or brand it as sheer natural activity thereby of the opinion that Kashmiri Pandits should go back to Kashmir and start living in the same society.

However, I have come across a peculiar segment of Indian Nationalists who while acknowledging the genocide meted to the Kashmiri Hindus over last 7 centuries in Kashmir and the repeated compromises made by the community to uphold the Indian civilizational moorings in Kashmir under Islamic theo fascism, but are against the creation of Homeland for Pandits.

I believe the nationalists need to be answered and the discourse for creation of Homeland set in proper perspective. We are aware that Pandits are the aboriginals of Valley, however we have come to such a pass and cross road of history where the aboriginals have been reduced to a minuscule minority through perpetual genocide.
We are aware of the fact that there are around 6 million Muslims in Kashmir and majority of them due to their religious fanaticism donot want to be part of Indian state, though we are aware that their desire and aspiration is based on sectarian and religious lines which fails the principle of coexistence and religious tolerance combined with liberal though process which accommodates other opinions, but at the same time we cannot wish away their present claim over their land. They have numbers and need to be accommodated.
Thus along these lines, let the state of J&K be quadfurcated with a separate statehood for Jammu, a UT for Ladakh and one for Panun Kashmir, and let the fourth part accommodate all those who aspire to stay out of Indian State. I donot recommend seceding the fourth part from Indian state, let the Indian state continue to hold on to it as Pakistan is holding on to POK areas, like Mirpur, Sialkot, Gilgit, Baltistan.
This proposition will solve multiple issues as far as the state of J&K is concerned.
1. The current claim of separatists over the whole state will be nullified automatically thereby breaking the spine of secessionism which is arm twisting the Indian state over the accession of J&K with Indian dominion.
2. The other parts of this state which are currently under Kashmiri Muslim hegemony will receive justice in terms of development and a persistent threat of uncertain future will go away. Nationalists in these regions deserve it badly.

3. Since the problem area will be reduced to just the fourth portion left with separatist ideology, Indian state can concentrate better in terms of logistics involved in maintaining the region and various options can be exercised which hitherto have not been explored by Indian state considering the majority of nationalist populace in Jammu, Ladakh and KP's.

I know the nationalists might be disheartened with this proposition which I believe is a general sentiment of most of the Indians, however, I have one more proposition connect with this which if exercised with conviction by Indian state will lead to India acquiring more geographical area which will be more than the fourth portion as proposed above.

The fourth portion must be further clubbed with the rest of erstwhile J&K state which is under the control of Pakistan. If you look into the map this portion is almost equal if not more than the three portions of J&K, Jammu, Ladakh, Panun Kashmir. Indian can further claim portions of that area and pursue its legal right over it, however disputed it may be. Our military has the might to hold on to portions of that region.

A BLATANT LIE!

While few Kashmiri Muslims are crying hoax over the human rights abuse in the valley of Kashmir by the Indian armed forced, have we ever given a thought to the fact that the amount of Recovery of Ammunition Rounds in Jammu and Kashmir just from 1990 to 2000. Let me give you some figures, which I am sure will set many heads rolling.

AK 47/ 56 / 74 = 28.95 LAC

PISTOL / REVOLVER = 1.84 LAC

UMG = 1.9 LAC

SNIPER RIFLE = 41 K

BELTED AMMO = 1.2 LAC

TELESCOPIC RIFLES = 24

Thus we have roughly 35 lac of ammunition rounds which were seized by the security forces, and it can be safely assumed that an equal amount has been used by the terrorists in Kashmir valley just in one decade. Assuming the success rate of the ammo used in Kashmir by the terrorists @ meagre 5% which means around 1.75 lac casualties. Putting the figures of Kashmiri Pandits @ 1000 and security forces @ roughly around 10000, which means we have a figure of 1.64 lac still left.
Thus we are at the cross roads where after 24 years of armed rebellion, we have around 1.64 lac Kashmiri Muslims killed by terrorists, who infact were Muslims fighting liberation of Kashmir, instead liberating their own men.

This dashes to ground the mis conceived notion and blatant lies of some Kashmiri Muslims who blame Indian security forces for atrocities and killings of KM. Can there be any bigger lies which some Kashmiri Muslims are projecting and thinking the world will buy their arguments.
Yes, initially the world was caught into falsely believing that Indian security forces are committing atrocities, and killing KM's, but gradually as the truth came out, the terrorists of Kashmir and their handlers got unmasked and now they are at the juncture where they have indeed lost around 2 lac but gained nothing.

NA KHUDA HI MILA NA VISAAL-E-SANAM
NA IDDAR KE RAHE NA UDAR KE

Caught between the devil and the deep sea, but self manifested and self created, with an irony that they cannot not shun the gun for they have gone away too far !!

ARTICLE 370 - A FRAUD

A friend of mine while discussing Article 370 suddenly retorted back by saying, why cannot we abrogate this article since this is an article present in the constitution of India. If we can have hundreds of amendments in our constitution, why not amend this one as well.

I always believed that it is always in the scope of the Indian Parliament to remove or amend this Article. I could have replied to my friend inboxing the details, but I thought to share it here on my wall for all my friends to know and evaluate.

We have to understand in the politics that is being played around Art 370, the separatist class of Kashmir and the main stream parties like NC and PDP have created an euphoria about this article in Kashmir and are breeding separation while invoking this article. They have over these years weaved a web of lies about this article to keep their hegemony alive, so if in other words we should know that all those who are opposing the abrogation of this article are actually directly deceiving the people of J&K and not the Government of India.

We know that this article has nothing to do with the Permanent Resident certificate or State Subject Certificate which hinders the Indian citizens who are not the subjects of this state to purchase any immoveable assets in this state. It is a matter of separate concern that it was Sheikh Abdullah who trespassed PRC laws to allocate the Tibetan refugees in Hari Parbat region. However this is not the point of our discussion here, Our discussion is only related to the Misuse of the Artcile 370 by the Abdullah Dynasty.

Here we need to understand that Article 370 is not the bridge which is connecting J&K with the rest of India, as said often by the sepratists and politicians of this state and in all naivety repeated by the Union ministers, we need to know that it is the Instrument of Accession signed by the legal heir, and the Maharaja Hari SIngh Bahadur with the government of India which acts as the actual bridge. It is also pertinent to mention that Maharaja signed the same IOA which the other princely state totalling aroung 535 in number signed with the Indian Dominion.

With the election of new regime in India the discussion and debate on the relevance of  Article 370 for the state of Jammu and Kashmir we need to know if this Article has indeed benefited our state or kept it backward on grounds of Economic growth, Infrastructure development, Governance and other allied fields. After evaluate its benefits, I came across none, but the upholding of the hegemony of the elitist and hindered the complete Indianization of J&K. And as far as its misuse is concerned we can easily pin point certain grave demerits.

The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act or Right to Education Act (RTE), is an Act of the Parliament of India enacted on 4 August 2009. This central law has earmarked Rs. 2310 billion for RTE for five years and the center pays 70 % out of it. In the height of political upmanship our State government did not incorporate this Act in the constitution of J&K. This if analysts in the ministry of HRD, GOI,  are to be believed , our state is losing around 5000 crores from the central funds to implement this scheme of free and compulsory education.

While our CM, Jenab Omar Abdullah voices his concerns about Autonomy to the state, he seems to be missing  something in his back yard. While talking high on rhetoric and low on logic he has not incorporated the 73 rd and 74 th amendment of the constitution of India which provide autonomy to the grass roots of the governance - The Panchayats. If analysts are to be believed our state is losing around thousands of crores worth funds meant for the development at the grass root of governed units. That what would have led to genuine autonomy has been reduced to a liability by this state. How Shameful?  These are just two miniature examples about the misuse of this article by our political bosses.

We the Subjects of this state have to decide, if this is needed or not in the current times which can be only evaluated with one yard stick and that is the betterment of the Subjects of this state. If we go back into the days when this Article was being incorporated in the COI, it was decided that this article can be revoked with the presidential order , the same order which gave it life. However , this Article turned out to be a fraud with the constitution of India. There was also an understanding that before the end of the Constituent Assembly of the State, this will be abrogated by the constitutional assembly. However, Sheikh Abdullah back stabbed the trust which was entrusted in him by the Parliament of India. He endorsed the Accession signed by Maharaja but declined to abrogate it. Thus, the only plea to the policy and law makers of this nation is to understand this Article has led this state back to dark ages and its continuance is nothing but a fraud played by the then Wazir e Riyasat Sheikh Abdullah. We need to understand that it is always just to correct the fraud and no debate should be deemed necessary for it.

AN OPEN LETTER TO SH OMAR ABDULLAH

Through this letter,  I - The Kashmiri Pandit, aboriginal  of the valley living in a state of perpetual exile for last more than 700 years, scattered across the globe with a hope that someday I will return to my abode to settle permanently and peacefully upholding the spiritual, social and literary ideals established by me before turmoil broke in valley.

It is this Kashmiri Pandit who was listening to your speech in K K resort , Jammu on January - The Fifth of this year with rapt attention trying to understand the crux of your speech. This Pandit appreciates your addressing the community with the salutation so dear to our heart ... Namaskar! Since we have buried any expectations from the majority community long back, but you seemed to break the ice well with this address. In the opening remarks when you said, “If I really deserve your Ashirwad and I have not done enough to deserve this Dastar (Head gear) you were more candid and truthful. Your candid and truthful expression was at its zenith when you admitted that the return of 1500 unemployed youth of the community is not the barometer of peace.

However after this statement you changed tracks and switched over to accusative mode without applying logic to your statements you contradicted most of your thoughts in the rest of your speech.  To Begin with you were in a sort of hurry to denounce and negate the preceding speaker Pt R K Bhat-your host, who said, he doesn't have any mandate from the community for return, adding return must go through the process of consensus and the whole community should be involved in this act. I am sure this comment didn't go well with you and you hastened your reply by saying that our community is using the word ‘consensus’ to evade return. This seemed to be utterly unjustified for the reasons well known to you. You further went ahead and said; KP community in entirety does not wish to / will not return.

This statement pierced my heart since not even a singe day elapsed in last 23 years when I didn’t have visions of my Homeland. I further received a shock when you said, ‘we cannot wait for consensus’ thus dashing all my hopes of a dignified return. I firmly believe the decision of leaving the valley was my own and I reserve the right to set of terms and conditions of my return now.  Thus with this remark you exchanged tracks from a truthful person to a dictatorial entity who for all obvious reasons wants to prove that your government has brought back peace in valley and return is an important component in that claim.

I second you over the fact that most of the community members do not wish to return now, even though in the heart of their hearts they long to, but with your hastened conclusion you did not lay even a single thought as to why, this pandit is not willing to go back now. Did you place your “evasive” comment in the context of the historical records and evaluate the rejection of return formula by our community. Nay! Mr Abdullah you did not, you evaded instead to venture into troubled waters of time since in your innate self you know the answer to this as I believe you have surely read Mahroom Sheikh Sahib in Aatish-e-Chinar when he equated Kashmiri Pandits as fifth columnists. I will not dwell into past history since I don’t wish to make this letter rhetorical otherwise there is ample to convey.

Then as your speech progressed, you seemed to realize the folly and tried to correct it by saying , ‘No one can take the community back forcibly as it is the lacking sense of security which is keeping the pandits away from valley’ This was another truthful admission that you have not been able to improve the security scenario of the valley, which in your thoughts will be the barometer of return, though I beg to differ.  You lambasted your won arguments with your truthful admissions, since you have already taken 1500 youth back to valley and the same number is in offing. Should we construe that those taken back to valley are being used as guinea pigs in your experiments of bringing peace.

In your address you made a very illogical and insensitive reference towards the pitiable condition of Jagati Dwellers. It seemed you were lying when you said, ‘we never wished to put jagati in trouble’ since as per your admission just after making the above remark you said that you were told by your officials that there are “FEW AIRCONDITIONERS” in jagati . How do we justify making 95% of dwellers suffer just because there are few air conditioners in there? Alas! You never knew that this hapless lot belongs to the cold climes and living life in hot and humid climate is not in our blood. You could have been more humanist while dealing with these few air conditioners.

I – The Kashmiri Panit congratulate you for completing 5 years in governance and appreciate your gesture of celebrating this day amongst this exiled community. However, I would humbly request you to leave this battered community in their current state of uncertainly and agony, since I firmly believe that this state is far batter than the state of repeated and forced exiles. We donot not wish to continue with this vicious cycle of EXODUS and RETURN. We want a permanent settlement of fate through the realisation of this Geo-Political Aspiration. We want Homeland! Nothing less; Nothing more!
